Key Responsibilities

Lead the Ultimate Guitar website and app, focusing on product strategy, user experience, and cross-platform consistency to drive audience growth, retention, and satisfaction.

Own and drive the strategic roadmap for both web and mobile platforms, aiming to enhance traffic, user activation, and retention.

Generate and test hypotheses through ambitious experiments and conduct market, competitor, and user research to inform product improvements.

Collaborate closely with Growth and Monetization teams to align product initiatives with overall business objectives.

Oversee the entire product life cycle, from concept to release, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards.

Communicate product direction and updates effectively through documentation and presentations.

Manage and support a team of up to 15 members, ensuring alignment and engagement.

Continuously update and refine the long-term product roadmap based on data-driven insights, user feedback, and ongoing experimentation.

Required Skills and Experience

5+ years of experience in product ownership as a Product Owner or Product Manager (experience with content projects or UGC is a strong advantage).
Proven track record in managing digital products, with a focus on strategy, user experience, and multi-platform integration.
Ability to create high-level visions for product direction and future improvements, while balancing strategic vision with effective execution.
In-depth understanding and application of key product ownership methodologies and frameworks.
Experience collaborating with Monetization teams to align product quality with business growth objectives.
Proficiency in both web and mobile product management.
Strong communication and documentation skills to ensure team alignment and transparency with stakeholders.
Experience managing and leading cross-functional teams, with the ability to interact effectively across departments.
At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and guide teams.
Knowledge music theory, or of guitar playing, tablature, and relevant musical topics will be a huge advantage
