We are seeking a Backend Developer to take a pivotal role in driving the SEO traffic growth of our flagship products.

Key responsibilities:

• Identifying and implementing quick improvements for SEO (both backend/frontend)
• Assisting other teams in implementing SEO-related tasks
• Reviewing SEO-related code changes made by other teams
• Participating in product-related tasks of other teams when necessary
• Supporting and improving the functionality of Slack bot that check for SEO errors on website pages

Required experience:

• Extensive experience with modern PHP (we use PHP 8.0), with the ability to leverage the strengths of the language.
• Ability to design and optimize relational databases (we use MySQL).
• Experience with React, the ratio among backend/frontend tasks would be around 80 to 20 respectively
• Capability to manage projects independently, from design to release and support.
• Skill in estimating deadlines, promptly flagging issues, and focusing on results.
• Understanding of which tasks can be solved "quickly" and which require a more "perfect" solution.
• Experience in optimizing PHP applications under load.
• Knowledge of design patterns in OOP and FP, with a focus on React/Redux applications. Architectural thinking and an understanding of SOLID principles
• Strong understanding of JS (ES2019 specification) and TypeScript
• Understanding web application debugging and profiling using Chrome DevTools
• At least B2 level of English

Nice to have:

• Experience with high-load projects that have a long development history.
• Experience working with Yii2
• Experience sending analytical data to services/storage (Clickhouse).
• Experience working with search systems (Elasticsearch).
• Experience delivering large-scale video content.
