We are seeking a dynamic and inspiring Global Head of Accounting to lead our accounting operations in the US. This is a high-impact role requiring strong technical expertise, strategic leadership, and an energetic approach. The ideal candidate will combine Big Four accounting experience with in-house leadership within a fast-paced, private equity-backed tech environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring our financial practices align with international standards and our ambitious business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and direct all accounting operations, including financial reporting, compliance, and audits, ensuring alignment with IFRS and U.S. GAAP.
• Develop and implement scalable accounting systems and processes to support growth in a global context.
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making and ensure timely, accurate financial insights.
• Manage and mentor a high-performing accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and lead interactions with external auditors.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in financial operations.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Big Four experience
• CPA certification with demonstrated expertise in US accounting practices
• Experience in an in-house accounting role, ideally within a private equity-backed company in the software, tech or SaaS industry
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing teams
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and energize stakeholders
• Proven ability to navigate a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with a hands-on approach
• High energy, dynamic personality, and a positive outlook – we are looking for someone who will inspire and energize our team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with financial systems implementation and optimization
• Background in global operations and working with distributed teams
