We are seeking a Content Production Manager to oversee the creation and management of visual and textual content for our Amazon listings. This role requires someone with a strong understanding of Amazon ecosystem, content creation processes, marketing background and skilled copywriting skills.
The ideal candidate will take ownership of creating detailed and creative briefs for product galleries and A+ content in collaboration with our colleagues, gathering technical specifications, developing clear USP and messaging for each ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number). You’ll coordinate with the design team, produce content, upload visual assets to Amazon, ensuring everything is aligned with both the brand and Amazon’s algorithm requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creative Brief Development: Collaborate with our colleagues to create clear, concise creative briefs for product galleries and A+ content, ensuring alignment with product specifications and brand messaging.
- Copywriting & SEO Optimization: Write and optimize product descriptions, key features, and messaging for 150 ASINs (approximately 150 ASINs initially per month), focusing on SEO to increase visibility and conversion on Amazon. Balance brand voice with Amazon algorithm requirements for search ranking and sales performance.
- Content Coordination: Work closely with the design team to ensure high-quality visual content (product images, A+ content) aligns with brand standards and Amazon’s requirements. Oversee the production of assets to support listing optimization.
- Content Upload & Compliance: Upload and manage all visual and textual content on Amazon’s platform, ensuring compliance with Amazon’s content guidelines, image quality standards.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Coordinate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, product) to gather technical specifications, product data, and key messaging for each ASIN.
- Project Management: Manage the end-to-end content production process, ensuring timely delivery of creative assets while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
Required experience:
- Amazon Content Experience: 2 years of experience working directly with Amazon including managing product listings, A+ content,
- SEO-Driven Copywriting: Strong ability to write clear, concise, SEO-optimized product copy that adheres to Amazon’s keyword and content best practices.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple content projects, prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Understanding: Ability to gather product data (technical specs, images, videos) and translate them into optimized content for Amazon listings.
- Advanced English Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to craft compelling copy and work effectively with remote teams.
- Content Production Background: Experience in creating and managing product content for e-commerce platforms, specifically Amazon.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring content is consistent, error-free, optimized for listing performance.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, proactively manage content production.
