Audio.com is one of them and growing fast with record numbers of uploads, users and engagement being hit every week. With the launch of a newly curated browsing page & collection feature, the need for content curation and community support is increasing significantly.

Thus, we are looking for wonderful talents to join our team. We need a Content Manager - Audio.com to help curate the thousands of pieces of audio we have into collections and featured pages for SEO and to communicate directly with our users on a regular basis. This person will have a deep-understanding of the product, our users, the music industry and will have a mixed work responsibility of daily and long-term planning tasks.

What you will do:
  • Standardise CMS operations for the curation and presentation of audio files on Audio.com
  • Handle and prioritise customer service requests on channels like email, reddit and socials
  • Curate "Collections" of content that is in high demand from users and co-ordinate with SEO team to create high traffic landing pages
  • Contribute to Audio.com the team as a whole
  • Monitor (and in-some cases commission) the effectiveness of certain pieces of editorial content and promotion
  • Coordinate with other members of Audacity, UG, Muse-Score etc. about effective communication and community management
  • Monitor the quality, quantity and the type of content on Audio.com while also suggesting ways to incentivise users to upload more of the content that we want
  • Weekly editorial newsletters
  • Suggestions for how to automate the recommendation of content in the future

Required qualifications:
  • 3+ years in a music-technology, music / podcast, playlist related business
  • 3+ years of experience with an audio-editor or DAW (Audacity related would be a pro)
  • Background in customer-support and/or community management in a technology oriented business
  • User of existing UGC platforms with an understanding of the needs of creators and consumers
  • Fully fluent in English and able to write copy to a relatively high-standard

Nice to have:
  • Bachelors of Arts
  • Deep understanding of music-production & music-consumption related terminology
  • Professional understanding of the podcasting industry
